Description
Summer Arts Series for Youth — SASY is a one-week Summer Arts Camp encounter with visual as well as performing arts.
Campers are given the flexibility to choose their own art experience.
They may want to dabble in the performing arts or take part in the visual arts or perhaps do a bit of both. Every effort will be given to placement of our campers in the classes they want, however, if a class is filled they may be placed in another fun-filled class.
Classes are broken down by age group and length of time. Our youngest campers, ages 5-7 have a half-day camp experience from 9 am – noon. Our senior campers, ages 8 to eighth grade are in full-day camp from 9 am – 2:15 pm.
At the end of camp on Friday, family and friends are invited to an exhibition of the week’s artwork, as well as music and a theatrical performance on the Tryon Fine Arts Center main stage!
Specific classes and teachers will be provided by May 15
